You already know how it went.
Nobody is keeping the record.

Tap the ball once and just talk, the way you would tell a friend in the car. She listens the whole time and works out for herself when you have finished a thought — no button to hold, no waiting your turn. She keeps what your ball is actually doing, what your coach thinks is behind it, and whether that matched what you felt. Then you can hand the whole thing to your coach.

No account needed to try it. And the page stays yours while she listens — you can read your record, tap through it, and keep talking at the same time.

What she is keeping

  1. The pattern. What your ball did, with the count and the date. Not a feeling — eight of fourteen forehands long in the third set.
  2. What your coach says is behind it. Drawn from your coach's own words. Haven never invents a cause, and never gives you one he has not given.
  3. Whether it matched what you felt. One tap. This is the part only you can answer, and without it there is no progress signal at all.
  4. What settled. The next session decides whether it was right. That is what makes the next answer better.
  5. Your rules. Say “write this down” and she keeps it in your words, after you confirm it: the rules for your game, and the rules for her. After a match, one tap each: kept it, or overrode it. Overriding is your call, and it is recorded, never held against you.

What to ask him

Your coach has thirty things he teaches. You do not know their names, and you should not have to. Talk, and the questions worth asking appear here.

Tap the ball and tell me how it went. As you talk, the questions your coach can actually answer will collect here — including the ones you would not have thought to ask.
